The Sälen Horse
These soft and lovely cushion covers are adorned with the green Sälen horse decorated with cloudberries - a symbol of tradition and craftsmanship.
The fact that the horse is green with decorative cloudberries is due to the enthusiasm of Maud Ån, who wanted to see a specially designed Sälen horse in connection with the summer event Speldosa held in Sälen in 2000 to give as a gift to the event's artists.
Now a large Sälen horse is also on display at the roundabout in Sälen where the road turns off towards the mountain facilities.
